Meet the Team


  • Director/Teacher

    Eva is the founder of Little Gardeners. Originally from Switzerland, she holds a BA in Elementary Education, where she gained her initial teaching experiences. Her diverse background encompasses roles as a head teacher across kindergarten to high school grades, as well as positions as music, art, and science teacher, internship instructor, mentor, and camp leader. Upon relocating to Hawaii in 2008, she acquired a preschool teacher/director license and founded Little Gardeners Outdoor Preschool. She is a passionate educator who loves to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences for children. In her free time, Eva enjoys traveling and spending time in nature with her family.


  • Co-Director/Teacher

    Ingrid is co-owner and teacher at Little Gardeners Outdoor Preschool. She was born and raised in Germany, where she obtained her MS in special education. She is further trained in speech therapy and has worked in different educational settings as a teacher, skills trainer and speech therapist. She enjoys living in Hawaii with her husband and their two children.
